Spontenaous meeting
I met the owner Anna in the tea house in 2014, where I first encountered the method of the traditional tea ceremony and the accompanying spirit. I was immediately enchanted by the process.
It quickly became clear, that they wanted a suitably representative appearance, branding to go with their already well-known name.

Conception
The name was given to the design, Flying Bird Tea House and it was also important for them to represent the connection to Eastern, including Chinese, culture.
The concept based on the characteristics of traditional Chinese ink-painting masters seals. Dynamic lines, a message enclosed in a symbol, simple, natural shapes.

Emblem
The logo depicts the "high-flying spirit of drinking tea" with the negative space.
It appears organic, like the tea house itself, pure and vivid in color, like drinking tea.

Tea Bags
The tea bag is a series of additional gift packaging in the store, from which customers can choose a special tea storage for themselves or their friends.
Tea bags were made in 3 different themes. Symbols of drinking tea, in a minimalist approach, from a selection of photos taken during the owner's travels in China and illustrations about the spirit of tea drinking.

Tea discs
Drinking tea is as popular in the world of consumers, culture and business in the East, as wine is in the West. These are collected, exhibited, tasted, used in medicine and in everyday life.
Puerh is a special tea picked from Yunnan large-leaved varieties, prepared by gentle roasting, kneaded, then dried in the sun, and later pressed into different shapes, which gets more delicious the older it gets
The tea can generally improve in taste over time due to natural secondary oxidation and fermentation. As with wine, only finely made and properly stored teas will improve and increase in value. Paper bags are inexpensive and effective options for storing broken-up tea.
The tea house wanted unique illustrations for the special puerh purchases. Since these are premium, in many cases aged teas, we created graphics for the paper packaging of the tea discs, taking into account the location, fermentation and taste.
