International ghetto
During the Second World War, in Hungary, the German soldiers searched for and took to concentration camps everyone who was Jewish by origin, there was a persecution of Jews. The person who was the neighbour or the butcher suddenly became a public enemy, some gave them up and some hid them.

The Hungarian Jewish Heritage Public Foundation, which was established in 1997 with its headquarters in Budapest, aims to restore Jewish civil, cultural and religious life to its pre-World War II status and richness with its application system. They contacted me with the purpose that after the end of the horrors of the war, Budapest, the XIII. Protected Houses created in the district should receive a worthy memorial.
These are houses where diplomatic protection was provided for Jews from the early summer of 1944 by the leaders of neutral states in the World War accredited in Budapest.

Small Pin-
smallest plaque
The smallest pin-shaped granite board, on which only the emblem of the organisation providing protection is shown, without any description. A total of 1 of these can be found in the district and is 20x25 centimetres in size.

Medium Pin-
Large pin plaque
The larger pin-shaped board with the emblem of the organisation providing protection in the building and a relevant description. A total of 10 versions of these can be found on the houses, they are 50x65 centimetres in size and there are a total of 19 pieces throughout the district.

Large Classic - Smaller rectangular plaque
The smaller rectangular board with the description of the building and the emblem of the Swedish organisation. There is a total of 1 of these in the district and the size is 60x80 centimetres.

Extra Large Classic - Larger rectangular plaque
The larger rectangular board is the navigator of the memorial series. It provides a summary description of the 120 protected houses that were found in the international ghetto. In addition to the wording, the logos of the organisations and the map of the affected part of the district are also included. Only 1 can be found on Jászai Mari Square, measuring 100x130 centimetres.
Leaflet and map
The memorial ensemble was handed over during a ceremony, for which a summary leaflet was created. It was both an honour and a challenge to work on the project, because Mazsök's representatives handled the task with dedication and because I was able to participate in the development and implementation of a unique and representative concept, which is worthy of attention.
